Food is โคโคโค

Who doesn't love to eat? Whether you're happy or sad, food is life...๐Ÿ˜˜

Not because it's my responsibility nor that I love cooking but as a mom, preparing meals for my little ones is a great joy for me. Especially when they loved it. Who will disagree?

It is also a great bonding for us... They love helping out in the kitchen. Especially my Kuya Noah, now a 5 year old, who also loves to cook and my Ate Zeph, a 2 year old, who loves to eat ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜˜

So, let me share you some of our cooking experiences and recipes. I'll start with the one I just posted on my fb which a friend of mine, who also enjoys food and sharing her recipes to me, teased me ๐Ÿ˜ to share it here in steemit. Thanks dha ryl@ryl. I hope you'll enjoy ๐Ÿ˜‰

Homemade Polvoron

Ingredients:
1cup All Purpose Flour
1cup Powdered Milk
1/3cup Sugar
1/3cup Margarine

Procedure:
Toast flour in a pan in low to medium heat. Stir it continuously until it slightly change it's color (A bit of brown). Or toast it even more if you wish it more brown but not burnt. Then turn off the heat. Add in powdered milk (I used Bear Brand Powdered Milk) and sugar. Mix. And while it's still hot, add margarine and mix until well combined.

Transfer in a flat baking dish. (I divided the my mixture in half and added choco powdered drink, milo, in one half for the choco flavor) Shape using polvoron mold. Make sure it is well pressed or compact before releasing it in the mold. Arrange individually and let it set. You can chill it to make it firm fast. Wrap individually with a Japanese paper or cellophane.

Note: You can add more sugar according to your preference _

But for my kiddos, it's munching time ๐Ÿ˜‹
