Censorship Function on Steemit Front-end?

@steemit censored
@thedarkoverlord account, would they be willing to specifically censor individual posts or entire accounts on request?
Say someone doesn't want anyone to read their past posts, could individuals send a request to @steemit to have that done on their front end?
Why not take it a step further and just add a 'delete' function that blots out entries into the STEEM blockchain so it doesn't appear on their front-ends.
Just a thought...
