Introducing Myself to Hive community!

Hello, Hive Community!

I’m excited to be here and wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Blade, and I’m from India—specifically from the bustling city of Mumbai, the financial capital of the country.

Professionally, I’m involved in business, which gives me the privilege to travel across India. Believe me, traveling not only makes you smarter but also gives you a deeper understanding of the world. Below is a photo captured earlier this year at an exhibition in Pune, just a three-hour drive from where I live.

When I’m not working, I’m pursuing my passions: I’m an avid traveler, a half-marathon runner, and a devoted foodie. I’m a very extroverted person who loves meeting new people and making new friends. I thrive on being around others, especially friends and family.

To give you a bit more insight into my personality—apart from my business travels, I’ve explored 12-13 different states within India, and I’ve shared some of my favorite moments in the photos below.

On the international front, I’ve visited Poland, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Ireland. I hope to add many more destinations to this list in the future.

My trip to Europe in 2017 was particularly special. During that journey, my wife and I had the chance to meet an internet friend in Poland. We feel incredibly lucky to have connected with her and her husband during our travels. They showed us around, and we had a wonderful time exploring together. Interestingly, it was this same friend who introduced me to Hive a few years ago, though I only made my first post here recently. Better late than never, right? I’ve included some photos from that memorable trip as well.

As for my hobbies, I consider myself an amateur mobile photographer—below are a few of my favorite travel shots.

Now, let’s talk about food. I’m a huge foodie. I not only enjoy my regional cuisine but also love trying out local dishes wherever I go. Traveling and food go hand in hand for me. I’ve included some food photos to give you a taste of my culinary adventures.

Running is another significant part of my life. I started in 2018, during a period when I was dealing with stress and anxiety. Since then, running or walking has become essential to my routine. Whether on business trips or vacations, I make it a point to explore every city or place on foot. So far, I’ve completed more than 10 half-marathons and countless 10K runs. I’ve shared some photos of my running journey below.

And finally, a word about my love for exploring different types of alcohol. Don’t get me wrong—I’m no alcoholic, but I do appreciate a good beer or single malt. Here are some pictures of the beers and whiskeys I’ve tried so far.
