My experience in Madrid

I went to Madrid for 10 days last year between Christmas and New Year’s and this year I completed with five more days. Now I'm excited to share all the experiences I had in Madrid, so that if you're planning to go, you'll have some great tips :)

Essential places:
📌 Parque el Retiro
📌 Palacio de Cristal
📌 Fuente de Cibeles
📌 Palacio Real
📌 Catedral de Almudena
📌 Jardines de Sabatini
📌 Plaza de España
📌 Templo de Debod
📌 Gran vía
📌 Parque del Oeste
📌 Subir al Teleférico de Madrid
📌 Parque Juan Carlos (It’s far away, but there are sculptures by Carlos Cruz Diez and many more artists)

🏢 Prado Museum (Free from Monday to Saturday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Sunday and holidays from 5:00pm to 7:00pm)
🏢 Reina Sofía Museum (Free Monday
7pm-9pm / Wednesday-Saturday
7pm-9pm / Sunday 12:30-2:30pm)

To eat and share with friends, I went to these places:

📍Yatai market, all the options for Asian food
📍Venezuelan street food in QW food truck 💯
📍El Tigre (to go for tapas although you have to eat stand up)
📍100 montaditos to hang out with friends 👌🏻
📍Tio papelón to eat Venezuelan
📍Sala Equis, it’s very cool to go hang out with a beer and popcorn

Extra things I saw or did:
See KM 0 in Sol
Activities with friends in SpeedPark (laser tag, karting, bowling, etc)✨
Karaoke Decibelios 💫
Botín Restaurant, the oldest restaurant in the world, which opened in 1725
Go up to the RIU ❗️
See the view of Gran Vía from the top floor of El Corte Inglés
San Miguel Market
Anglona Prince’s Garden
Stand up clubs, highly recommended (Collage Burlesque, Estación Comedy)👌🏻

You can make one-day trips to :
📍Toledo (An hour from AtochaⓂ️ with Blablacar)
📍Segovia (same distance)

I think my favorite areas were Malasaña, Callao, Sol and Chueca 🙌🏻

What did you think? Have you ever visited Madrid? Tell me where you went!
