Averageness

Everyone who started photography at least at the beginning was satisfied with the camera they have, no matter if it was a camera on the phone, old film cameras, some of the many point and shoot, bridge, DLSR or Mirrorless cameras, etc.
But every pleasure lasts a very short time, what do I mean by that? After a few days or weeks, you start to see the flaws and shortcomings of your camera or equipment (lens), and then a desire appears in you for something better, more expensive, perhaps unattainable at that moment!
Of course, you always have to be aware of the capabilities of your camera and equipment, but very often the camera sensor simply cannot capture what your eye sees. What I’m talking about, today’s cameras have a sensor from 24mp to 100mp, while your eye sees an image in over 600mp nowhere near the same thing. And very often your photo is not even close to what you saw with your own eye, personally I am often disappointed and frustrated ...
But enough about the cameras, what makes a photo good is not the camera, but the photographer who made a good frame, good ISO settings, shutter speed, aperture, white balance, etc. Later editing and processing can correct any shortcomings you may have made.
According to my own criteria, understanding and in the experience I gained by taking photos, if you take more than 100 excellent photos in a period of one year, you can be very satisfied with your achievement. Most of the photos you take are average, not bad but not outstanding.
Many of my photos are just average, nothing special, but each of them is especially dear to me because it carries a recorded moment that was very important to me. I often find myself remembering events and important moments only on the basis of photographs. I don't remember anything anymore ....
