BFC17_04 Device

Initially inspired by Samuel Greengard’s The Internet of Things (2015), this animation uses the idea of connectivity to create a narrative that speaks to the control of screens on the docile self. Restricted to a set path, the camera travels in and out of screens to witness the uncontrollable and incomprehensible multiplication of devices. Once the amount of devices becomes completely illogical, the camera tries to break the path only to find itself back in the same loop. Hence, how much are you controlling your device and how much is it controlling you? Which is the original title of this film, but it wouldn't fit into the Steem feed ;-)
