What Should Christians Do After A Bad Dream.

As part of my pastor’s sermon for today, I’d be sharing with you also. We learned about what to do after a bad dream at church today. One thing is sure which is that no matter how smooth one’s life is, you will have some backside and you will surely have some bad dreams at times.
The devil wants to make us scared. That’s the first thing we should know. The devil never wants us to be happy and that’s why we have to take actions when we have a bad dream.
It may not even be the devil. It may be the next thing that will happen in a few days. A few times, you may not find yourself in that dream. The bad thing may be happening to your friend in that dream but if you don’t take actions, it will come back to happen to you. It means the dream was like a measage that something was about to happen to you.
I won’t be telling you what to do after a bad dream without hearing from the Bible first.

Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV) "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

I know the dream may be bad but have you prayed? That’s the first thing you should do. A lot of Christians always make the mistake of waiting till morning before they pray and unfortunately, the bad dream manifests before morning.
Also, this is an important reason why our Bible should not be far from us. While praying, be reading the words of God. That’s how it should work.
Let’s go to our Bible again.

(2 Cor 10:4-5) The Bible serves as a divine power or weapon to pull down the wall of bad dreams or evil dreams in our lives.

I think this is enough to tell you why your Bible should be very close to you so that you can use it to cast and bind every form of evil spirit. When you read the Bible against the dream you had, after that moment, your life will be so full of joy and happiness.
