How Do We Understand The Bible? ~ MCGI Topic Review.

As a Christian, I derive joy in visiting other people’s church, learning about their doctrines and looking for ways to contribute positively to Christianity.

On the long run, I realized that every church has a way that they understand and interpret the Bible. That’s why different churches have different ways that they carry out their doctrines.

This is what we should look at. The Bible has its own definition and interpretation. At the same time, understanding the Bible is God given. It is God that gives you the grace to understand the doctrines of the Bible.

Psalms 94:11 says that; The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity

That’s why some men or people interpret the Bible anyhow they want. They interpret the Bible based on their thoughts and how they feel things should go or be in the Bible.

1 Corinthians 1:19 says; For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

No matter how wise you think you are, if you are not prudent enough, God will take that wisdom from you and give it to the one who is prudent.

Then, the question, “how do we understand the Bible?” falls back to the things that you do.
How you read the Bible and also how you observe the things that you learn in the Bible.

When you learn, put it to use and that gives you more understanding of the Bible.
