A lovely Monday to you all on this beautiful day, I hope you all had a geat weekend,it is another day and a beautiful start of a great week and I'm glad to share with you in this great community @needleworkmonday my project which was successfully completed last weekend. I will be sharing with you today the cutting and sewing process of making this beautiful design of a fabric hand bag without zipper which I made for my sister.

My sister came to visit Grandma with my little niece and when they were wth us, my sister saw the collection of hand bag I made for myself from fabrics and she insisted that I must make one or two for her, else she will have to take form the ones I had, I didn't want to give her those ones because I have been using it often, so I promised that I will make hers and send it to her on Sunday.

Join me as I make this beautiful hand bag for my sister.

To start with, I cut out a single piece of fabric with the measurements of 35 x 16" with lining

The fabric was placed on the lining right side to right side and it was sewn together round leaving a small opening for it to be turned to the right side

It was turned to the right side and i folded it in two to locate the middle

I pleated on the middle and I used my hand needle and thread to hold it firm

From another piece of fabric,I cut out 5 x 5" and it was folded in on all sides just as seen below

This piece was used to cover the middle in order to make the handle

The fabric was folded together and I measured 9"on both sides from where it was sewn down

Both sides were folded together with the seam line in the middle and the bottom was sewn together

I measured 3x3" at the bottom on both sides and it was cut out

I took it to my sewing machine and sew the side that was cut out together on both sides

This is the final outcome and it was turned to the right side

I put some items in it to see the beautiful outcome and it turned out to be so nice and beautiful.

Unfortunately, I couldn't send it to my sister yesterday as promised but I will definitely send it to her today. I hope she will like this design of bag I made for her.
