Gervonta Davis vs Lamont Roach - Full Fight and Thoughts 🥊

It's time to get the grease out your eye!

PBC put the March 1st fight between Tank and Lamont Roach on YouTube for our viewing pleasure. Perfect for a weekend with no boxing. I remember before the fight, it was expected that Lamont Roach was going into the ring to get knocked out and Tank would be announcing his next big fight after the knockout victory.

Lamont Roach had other plans. Roach moved up in weight and gave one of the faces of boxing all he could handle. Whether he had Tank's number due to their past sparring or Roach was simply a top-tier fighter, Lamont Roach showed up and delivered a shocking outcome, ultimately leading to a controversial decision.

As you know, the fight ended in a controversial draw. I thought the fight was pretty even outside of the unscored knockdown by Roach. I could see a case for either guy winning on the cards, although I had Lamont Roach winning on my scorecard.

But as soon as the knockdown happened, everything changed for Tank. You could see him putting more on his shots. It seemed that his level of respect for Roach had increased. He was flustered in the corner. And I thought he looked nervous during the announcement of the scorecards and relieved by the decision.

Either way, they need to run that back. Boxing fans were expecting to see the rematch coming up next on 8/16, but with the way things are going outside of the ring, there's no telling when or if we'll ever get the Tank Davis Vs Lamont Roach rematch.

But hopefully having the full fight on YouTube helps get the grease out of everyone's eye!
