Mississippi Gun Club - Bomb The Sun
If you like bands like Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age, you may just like Mississippi Gun Club. It sounds like they really like the aforementioned bands, but that's okay. We all have our influences. In a weird way, sometimes the vocals remind me vaguely of old Alice in Chains, but maybe I need to lay off the devil's lettuce.
It's fuzzy, tuned low, heavy, and just spacy enough. It's suiting me just fine on this cold autumn morning, accompanied by my mini spaceship bong and a cup of hot coffee.
