The Mighty K2 Mountain

Only a few dare to climb it, but everyone who sees it feels its power.

Louis Reichardt, Jim Wickwire, John Roskelley, and Rick Ridgeway reached the summit of K2 via the razer sharp north east ridge route. The route never been repeated since then.

This was the third overall successful ascent of K2 and the culmination of a 40-year American quest to climb the 2nd highest mountain on earth.
