Turning a Wrong Turn Into the Right Direction

I was just trying to make rent.
That’s it.
No master plan, no blueprint, no “10 steps to success” guide.

I downloaded a crypto wallet out of boredom.
I clicked through tutorials I barely understood.
I made a Hive account thinking it was just another app.

Then I stayed.
Not because I knew what I was doing — but because, somehow, it felt like it knew me.

I didn’t mean to become part of a decentralized community.
Didn’t mean to start learning about blockchains, DeFi, or how to grow value in public.
Didn’t mean to post that first blog either — it was just a rant, really.
A messy, unfiltered brain dump about Milwaukee, hustle, and feeling overlooked.

But that rant connected.
Someone upvoted.
Someone commented.
Someone said, “Same.”

And that’s how it started —
Not with a strategy, but with an accident that finally felt like home.

Now I look back and realize:
Most of the best things in my life came from moments I didn’t plan.
Slips, fumbles, detours…
But each one pushed me into the exact direction I needed to go.
