Growing Pains
A wonderful example of a successfully “birthed” placenta, sometimes referred to as the “tree of life” in childbirth.
The organ responsible for providing the growing baby with nutrients and oxygen via the umbilical cord and also removed waste via the same.
The pic related shows a heathy placenta according to our midwife. We even had the pleasure of being shown how the baby grows inside the sac like structure connected to the placenta.
