DBJP # 90 - When Mommy’s Away
The whole spectrum of emotions bubbles up in just a short four hour span.
First initial moments, little man James plays with Mommy’s hair tie as he can smell her hair and what not.
Realizing now that Mommy is definitely not home, a somber James continues to try to entertain himself with some basic toys.
Even his selfies clearly show his displeasure with Mommy’s absence. Pouty face.
He’ll grab photos and pull me over to them to point to Mommy in the photo while babbling “Mama”... breaks my heart.
To pass the time quickly, James crushes a bottle of milk and is knocked out in moments.
There at least he can dream about Mommy.
And of course it’s all big happy smiles when the family is together again. Love so pure.
Such a nice feeling as a Father, to bare witness.
I pray to Heavenly Father. Take care y’all.
