With serious anxiety and panic, my client rushed into the Pharmacy. I looked at the skin and voila, she had Chicken Pox.
It had really spread all over her body at this point. I went down the drug aisle and picked up three items. An immune booster, an analgesic for the fever and calamine lotion.
When I gave it to her, she looked at me like I was an idiot.
"Like, Hello??? Where are the antibiotics!!"
"Antibiotics for ?" I asked
I have chicken pox! I need antibiotics to wash it away.

Then, I got it.

She is one of those that have been scammed by either relatives, friends or 'chemists' (in Nigeria, this is not necessarily translated as someone who studied Chemistry).

Antibiotics are drugs for bacterial infections. That is infection caused by a bacteria.

Chicken pox is caused by a virus and thus antibiotics won't fit.

An antiviral may help if it is still in its early stage (to reduce degree of spread), importantly what you need is an immune booster. The immune booster would strengthen your defense mechanism(immune system) to fight this stranger (i.e d virus). You might need an antipyretic too (a drug to reduce the fever) such as Ibuprofen.

All in all, an antibiotic is not needed except if there is an accompanying bacteria infection. A test showing the full blood count of the individual would help.

Do not be scammed!!
