Hi my steemit family! I just got back from my 4 days travel vacation in Siargao Island and I'm very excited to share with you steemians my travel experience in Siargao, but before that let me give you a brief description of the Island.

What is Siargao?

Siargao is known as the "Surfing Capital of the Philippines" which is situated 800kilometers southeast of Manila in the province of Surigao del Norte. The Island is composed of municipalities of Burgos, Dapa, General Luna, San Benito, Pilar, San Isidro, Santa Monica and Socorro. It has been one of the must to go places here in the Philippines.

MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF THE ISLAND

It has been raining so hard for 2 weeks before my travel date going to Siargao, I have been worried that my flight would be cancelled since I've been looking forward on this trip but Thanks God it was a beautiful sunny afternoon when we flew to Siargao.

The moment that we landed, me and my friend Crisse was so very excited to explore Siargao. Our first impression of the Island is that it looks deserted or maybe we are not accustomed to the solitude since we are used to the busy life or the noise of the city. Most of the people there are living a simple life. There's no traffic, no malls, no 24 hours convenience store, there is no building, even some part of the Island has no signal nor internet connection (one of the reason why I was not able to do my blogging while I was in the Island).

All I can say is that Siargao is the best place not only for Surfing but also if you want a complete Relaxation, away from the busy life in the city, from pollution and away from stress in work. I will describe the Island as a Paradise. It was so very simple but yet, the Island has so much to offer.
