A Lichen a Day -- 21 December

Not much time today--MiL due shortly to bake Christmas cookies and I spent the morning cleaning the kitchen and crawling around the floor cutting linoleum edges to try to get rid of a bulge she might trip over (she's 96!).

Took this one over the weekend also.

I like how the monochrome enhances the texture of the "leaves" and the contrast with the darker underside.
