MTGOX to begin compensation payments

MTGOX will begin compensation payment to registered customers who were affected after the Company went bankrupt in 2014. In an email sent out earlier last week the company urge affected parties to log in through a link that accompanied the mail and register their bank details.
Recall that in 2010, shortly after the launch of bitcoin, MTGOX was one of the few critical bitcoin exchangers and handled over 70 percent of the total bitcoin transactions. The Company was hacked in 2014 and declared bankrupt that same year. This was followed by a long string of legal engagements before agreement was reached for compensation payments to affected customers who lost their coins.
