Hello there, Hivers!

Repetition is a way an interesting way of learning. Once we have worked something the first time, we can move forward to the next iteration. It might be easier and we can find the mistakes. We can even improve on our work.

For example, something I learned from drawing this pattern the first time was how to create the sort of pebble grid. It is easier than I initially thought. A mistake on the second version was using a deep color like wine red. It doesn't help the drawing at all.

Zentangle is more about doing and less about thinking in the results. So it is also about accepting some things are the way they are and moving on. There's nothing to do about it. Very much like life itself and problems or other situations that escape our grasp.

Releasing control and moving with the rest of the ideas is usually a good course of action. However, it doesn't mean stopping our conscious actions, just knowing when to let them go.

It is interesting how many things one can think about during a lapse of time of art. Maybe this should be one of the things implemented at school to help kids get a breather and tune in with their inner monologue.
