Rooftop Sunset
Hello there, Hivers!
Who doesn't love a good sunset? There's been poems written about it. It is romantic. It is anamaOng display of colors. It is a fine subject for photography. This is one taken from the rooftop of a mall in my hometown.
While dating @octocel, she wanted to go and take some shots at this daily event. We had to wait some time until the sunset started to take place. She did took some other selfies. I did too.
Once the sunset started, we found out you can't get close to the edge. A lady jumped from the roof during the days of the pandemic. Now there's a watchmen making sure nobody walks past certain point. It is a shame. We could get better photos from the edge. And we don't want to jump.
A great sunset has clouds to have light bounce from something. It has depth to the scenery. During this time, @octocel took the time to record a little time lapse to use in her projects. This takes a lot of time. You need to stay still and let the phone do its thing for the video to have good results. A tripod is needed to avoid getting tired arms.
Enjoy the spectacle of the sunset from my hometown.
