DIY Shorts: Bindings [ASMR]

We are back with the usual programming and DIY Shorts. This time I wanted to show something that's really hard to do. Well, it's the first stage of bindings on the instruments. These strips of wood are ornamental but really hard to get on the instruments. The previous step was done with a router to create a channel on the border of the body. Then, the strips of wood are soak in water for hours. Finally, they are bent with heat to get on the right shape.

Fileteria

Volvemos con los shorts del taller. En esta ocasión, es algo bien complejo. Bueno, solo es la preparación para pegar la filetería de este instrumento. Estas piezas de madera son ornamentales, pero colocarlas es todo un trabajo. El paso previo se hizo con una fresadora para crear un canal al borde de la caja. Luego, la filetería se deja remojando em agua. Finalmente, se doblan con calor hasta que tienen la forma adecuada.
