Monomad Challenge | Home Decor

People must think that I am crazy for coming into a house and being enticed by the decor. Last Friday, while taking a little car ride, I came into this house that had these interesting pieces of porcelain. This is what we could could China. It has Chinese motives and works as a attention getter when you step into the space.

It is was a modest apartment. In front of these prices if ceramic, there were some pieces of clay pottery. Those are not as interesting as the drawings on the porcelain but making such things is a craft. A difficult one.

The end of my classes at the poetry workshop led me to this place as one of my students was taking me near home and we went for the ride to get her sister. It was was a cool ride. I learned a bit about some things and also about her extended family.

Old people tend to get chatty on any chance. Well, the kind of old people I know. And you get to know a lot about their lives and meet their family members. The house with the China was also owned by an old guy and friend of the family. It looks well-kept. But for sure the pieces of porcelain are the things that get the attention of anyone who comes into the place.
