At the annual meeting Breakpoint 2022 in Lisbon, Solana made several announcements and now wants to become suitable for the masses.
Google Cloud is working on a block-producing Solana validator that will participate in the network and validate it.
Google Cloud's Blockchain Node Engine was first announced on October 27 and is set to be deployed in the Solana chain from 2023. With the integration, users can launch their own Solana nodes in the cloud.
Google Cloud also plans to index the Solana data and bring it into BigQuery by next year. This is a fully managed, serverless data warehouse that makes it much easier for Solana developers to access historical data.
