The desktop miner from Minergate, made me about 25% of one tenth of a cent in 6 hours. Multiply that by 4= one tenth of one cent. multiply that by 365 = 36.50 bucks a year at this rate. My cpu fan stays on high speed leaving me with the feeling of an impending train wreck. I think the electric cost alone would be enough to eat any profits, so why are people into this. Because they like to participate in the newest computer technology, the internet of value. I imagine at the office , you would get comments like is your computer part airplane, because of the fan noise.
