I am having laptops issues maybe due to latest Windows updates

So I have two Lenovo ThinkPad laptops, one that I am using at work which was given from the company and another one for personal use. And since yesterday I've started having issues with them and while I don't like to point the finger that might have something to do with the latest Windows updates (those kind that are done without us even knowing).

My work laptop started getting Hypervisor errors and sometimes I succeed to enter Windows. But the windows screen starts flashing and it gets stuck. I have tried multiple restarts, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. This is very bad for me as I barely can do my work. The alternative is to go at the office and ask for a replacement, but I plan only to go to the office in September. So I have a full month when I can only pray for it to boot correctly and work for that day. It is not like going to the office and getting there in 5 minutes as I need to fly there, book a room at the hotel, open an IT ticket and reserve a slot that I can go to report my problem. And it is not like they will solve it on the spot which might need me to stay multiple days there. Thus the commute might end up in few days or a week just to sort this out. So that's quite bad.

On the other hand I was starting my personal laptop from hibernate (yes, I saw a late movie yesterday) and guess what? After I login it got stuck as well. In a different way than the work laptop, but as it got stuck I tried to move it back to hibernate and resume it again. Still it didn't work as it was showing as loaded forever. I did a hard reset and started praying. And it seems that worked, at least this time. But as my both laptops started having problems in the same time, I can only assume there was some Windows update that wasn't as good as the vendor might have thought.

I believe that this might come in a context when also Microsoft started using AI for their vulnerability fixes and other things. And maybe they have shipped such AI improvements and fixes which made things worse. Up until now I haven't experienced bad situations with Windows 11, but these days it seems like everything fails. Whatever might be the reason, I assume there is the AI hand in it. And I've started looking on my phone to see if there are some contextual reported issues from the latest updates. And guess what? There are quite a lot of news in this regards during this time. Here are some examples:

The laptops are of few years old, so it is hard for me to believe it is their fault as they are different versions, bought in different year and from different place. And the fact they both happened at once it means they have something in common that brakes. In such times I wished I had Linux installed as well as I could have switched to it. What about you? Are you experiencing and Windows issues these days?

PS: At the moment what I am doing is to shutdown and restart. Sometimes leaving them more to rest, but that's crazy weird. I think that's coming from some bad drivers but on my work laptop I don't have admin rights and while on my own I do who knows which on is faulty. I hope future updates will solve these issues.
