API
API는 컴퓨터 프로그램 간에 높은 수준으로 '소통'하여 정보를 요청하고 전달할 수 있게 만든 인터페이스를 말한다.
인터페이스는 컴포넌트(구성요소, 부품)를 서로 원활히 접속 하기 위한 규격을 뜻한다.
예) 네이버 지도 API - 웹 서비스나 애플리케이션에 네이버 지도를 활용할 수 있도록 제공하는 API
