Hot springs. My Actifit Diary: August 1 2026

A beautiful day! Mostly. Waking up early was a little harder, since I had been making a Seitan for Danny in the middle of the night. And the typical chaos when accepting the invitation to go on a family trip with my in-laws. Everyone is late, the destination changes at last minute, but then we’re on the road.

And I like being on the road, especially with Ellie. We put on some nice music, talk, sing along, quietly enjoy, smile at each other from time to time.

Chachimbiro is a nice place to be. This time at La Hacienda. A lot less people then the other locations, especially because we arrived early enough. Lots of flowers and beautiful views over the valley. They really do a great job maintaining that property.

We spent all day there, relaxing, talking, reading, soaking in the hot water, having fun overall. The afternoon was almost over when we arrived at home, and Ellie had to go to the factory shop as she expected some clients. She made some sales, which is good. But we need a marketing strategy to get it really rolling. Quality control is done, so now we can go for more.

I was really tired in the evening. I barely kept my eyes open, so I decided to play some racing games. Not that good for the brain, but keeps it awake until Ellie came back. We watched the rest of a movie, only 20min, but both fell asleep for a minute or two. But woke up in time to watch the conclusion. Which wasn’t very satisfying. Felt like a quick wrap up of the movie. @erikah , we still enjoyed most of the Death on the Nile, but the Poirot movie in the Orient Express was quite better.

That was yesterday. Today is Sunday, and Sunday is my favorite work day. Let’s go!
