Neolamprologus brichardi are some fascination fish from the alkaline waters of Lake Tanganyika in East Africa.

This is a 120 gallon tank... sorry it looks so empty but these fish like to live amounts the rocks ... staying very close to rock cliffs and outcrops I their natural habitat. I used crushed coral and high-calcium gravel mix to keep the water about 9 on the ph scale. I was careful to use rocks that all matched in type and look... just to add to the natural look.

I started with 6 of theses guys and they bred into a tribe. They are easy and prolific breeders and are good parents. My tribe has grown!
