Friends, a few days ago I and my friends had gone out with people, 5 of us had gone. ❛Tungnath Temple ❟ which is very beautiful.

We will travel on bike
The journey starts from Almora at 6 pm towards Karnaparyag which is 153 kilometers away from Almora, which took us 4 hours to cover. We reached Karnaparyag by around 10 o'clock, spent the night in a hotel there and started our journey again towards Tungnath at 5 in the morning.

Which was at a distance of 77km from Karnaparyag. Which we completed in 2 hours 45 minutes, which is very beautiful and goes through the banks of the river and through the forests towards Tungnath. Which was very new for us. We got to see many beautiful beauties of nature.

As soon as we reach Tungnath, our journey starts on foot instead of by bike. Which leads to Tunganath temple situated at a height of 8km from the road. And Chandrasila is situated at a height of 3 km from the temple. To reach there we have to travel on foot. Which is situated at a very high altitude.

❛Tungnath Temple ❟ is situated in Rudraprayag in Uttarakhand. Tungnath temple is situated at an altitude of 3640 meters. This temple is situated at the highest point among the Panchkedaras. The arms of Lord Shiva are worshiped in Tunganath temple. It is believed that this temple is 1000 years old.

Which was built by Pandavas to please Lord Shiva. Because the Pandavas, after defeating their cousin, left their kingdom in search of Lord Shiva to seek forgiveness and blessings, to atone for their sins.

❛Chandrashila ❟ is situated at a height of 3 km from Tunganath temple. Which is the peak of Tungnath. The beauty of the Himalayas can be seen from this peak. Nanda Devi, Tirsul, Kedar and lower peaks are visible from this peak. Which I feel very good to see.

This is why the stones are placed one above the other. To fulfill their wish of building a house, people pray to Bholenath to fulfill their wishes. So that we can build a good house.

The doors of Tungnath temple are closed in November because it is situated at a very high altitude. It remains covered with white blanket of snow from November to February. Which looks very beautiful. Then one has to face many difficulties while going here. The best time to visit here is after February when the snow melts and travel becomes easier.

When we reached Tungnath, we saw fog along with rain, which was very heavy. We did not get to see the beauty of the Himalayas. We got to see lush green Bugyal and rain, there was fog far and wide. If you want to see the beauty of the Himalayas, then the month of February is the best month to visit here and see the peaks of the Himalayas.
