World might see another massive lockdown

There have been serious concerns about the next lockdown in many countries. Some people see this as just a rumour, and some people are taking this very seriously. Fossil fuel, inflation, import costs, etc., are some of the reasons why this can happen. Experts predict that if we don't take action right now, we might end up having a very tough time in another 10 years.

This time, it is not about any pandemic, but it can be about inflation, war, and fuel demands. Many countries have already started imposing lockdowns, considering the demand for fuel. War is the major contributor. War plays a very important role in this, and because of war, it is expected that we might even lose all the developments that have happened in the last 10 years and be pushed into poverty again. This is not something that is being said casually, but on a serious note, this can be true.

This is the reason why our prime minister, Modi Ji, has been talking about this for quite some time. It is not only our prime minister, but many countries have already started taking this very seriously. Lockdowns have been imposed in many countries already. In India, people are requested to use public transport instead of their own transport. This can reduce the consumption of fossil fuels to a greater extent. A small change from every individual can turn out to be a massive change in the future.

We have also been asked to move more towards alternative energy and green energy sources. But this is something that has to happen only over time, and it cannot be done immediately. So the current solution would be to reduce imports from other places and make use of items produced in India. Some of these things may not be easy to accept, but COVID has already given us a clear indication of the importance of a self-sustaining lifestyle. There is no harm in attempting to do something like that.

Many MNC companies have already started considering Work From Home as an option. Currently, there is a high cost associated with working from the office. We have a proven record where the productivity was good even during lockdown, when people were working from home. Maybe it won't work for all teams, but some teams can definitely show productivity, and there can be metrics to evaluate that. We have to wait and watch what can happen.
