Heartbreak .. original haiku
Broken hearts bleed pain
Feels better to be insane
A broken heart can never be the same
Even the strong gets weak
Even the doctor gets sick
Even the sheik becomes meek
A Haiku is a short Japanese Poem consisting of 3 lines.
Traditionally, Japanese haikus consist of 17 syllables, in three phrases of five, seven and five syllables respectively. Among contemporary poems Teikei (fixed form) haiku continue to use the 5-7-5 pattern while Jiyuritsu (free form) haiku do not.
This is a Jiyuritsu Haiku.
