Truck work

Good morning everyone, been a while since I’ve posted anything. Hope everyone is doing swell! I know I am! So today my dad gave me a little project to do. Nothing too hard to do by myself. Got a little dirty from it, but hey that’s all apart of working on vehicles!

So I got a little dirty which I don’t mind but dads brakes started sounding kind of ughhhh, how can I put it reeeeeescccccccc. Just grinding like no other. So yesterday I believe he went and bought some brake pads. I had all the tools needed to do it which wasn’t too big of a deal. Love working on stuff. Unless it just irritates me😂 came to a little issue where I didn’t have anything to clamp the pistons and actually push them back in so I had to think of other ways to push the pistons in! After I got both sides replaced front left and from right. His truck wasn’t squealing anymore or yelling at him “help me help me” because one of them pads were completely bald… Just glad I was able to help him out. Last time he got his brakes done and stuff it cost him wayyyy too much in my opinion. So what’s better then having a son who could do it for free!? Nothing, he said he’d buy me a sandwich though so I get free food!!! Everyone loves a good sandwich!
