PURPLE LIGHTNING

There’s something unsettling yet beautiful about seeing lightning turn purple. I took pictures of this some days ago, id never really thought of lightning being purple and it might have happened before but i just never noticed it until yesterday evening time. Then it made me think of kakashis purple lightning(anime fans will understand) We grow up expecting lightning to be that sharp white , blue crack across the sky, , but when it glows purple it almost feels unreal, like the atmosphere briefly stopped behaving normally.

This picture feels less like a storm and more like a scene from a dream. The sky is dark and heavy, i actually wanted to take pictures of the stars but instead got this.

Moments like this remind me how weird nature really is. We see storms so often that we stop paying attention to them, but every once in a while the sky does something that snaps you out of routine. Purple lightning feels rare or maybe it isnt and i never just noticed. I wonder what causes the change in color.

There’s also something oddly peaceful about storms at night, especially those that come with cool winds thereafter. During the day, storms can feel disruptive, but at night, especially when everyone else is asleep, or about to sleep, it is blissful.
