June 18 Peace
"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts" Colossians 3:15
Peace is elusive all over the world including churches and families but most troubling is that it's elusive in our own hearts. We live in a world in conflict because we have hearts in conflict. Paul says we are to let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts. He doesn't say peace should exist in our hearts or influence our hearts periodically, he says it is to RULE in our hearts. If you are in conflict with another person, it's probably a reflection of the condition of your heart. Ask God to still your turbulent waters, let Jesus rule in the deepest corners of your being.
