MOON
😏YOUNG MOON, waxing moon, new moon, waxing moon (obsolete) - the moon in the first week after the new moon. The goddess Hecate was considered the embodiment of the destructive, fatal qualities of the young Moon in astrology. In Christian iconography, the Virgin Mary was often depicted against the background of the sky with a thin crescent of the young moon.
