Memories

All of the cells within you last anywhere from a few days, to a few months, to a few years. Yet, those in your brain last a lifetime. You're being changed within all the time. But your mind, it leaves every memory you've ever known available to you. Some memories can be recalled at will, while others pop up at random times or only in your dreams. Perhaps it is those memories that your own mind, on its own accord, have chosen as ones that are the most important for one reason or another. Memories to remind you of who you've been, to remind you of others important to you, things you need to work through, who you should try to be again, or a reminder to not be who you once were.

All of them are important. Most of all, those memories that keep your spark about you, that keep your soul seeking and pushing on.
