EXPLANATION OF THE VIDEO IN ENGLISH:

Hi #skinandbodycare friends, today I'm sharing the video I promised you: explaining how to make the rosemary oil and rosemary tonic. I thought I had videos of how I made the two products, but I only had pictures. Anyway, I explain it in the video and if you have any questions, feel free to write in the comments.

As the video is in Spanish, I will try to explain what I say in the video so that you can also make the oil or the rosemary.

After greeting you, I comment that I have two options to make the rosemary tonic:

1) Using fresh rosemary, you can see this by the little leaf, the greener the better. Then I boil water, the amount of water to taste, but if you see the video you will notice that my pot is small, so that makes the tonic is concentrated. Once the pot is ready, I chop the rosemary, if it can be crushed better to release its benefits. And before the water boils, I add the chopped rosemary. I let it stand until it cools and pour it into the clean container.
2) With the dried rosemary, this is my favorite because it has lasted me a long time and the smell remains intact. The procedure is the same as above, except that with the dried rosemary I let it boil in the pot. Then I turn it off and when I empty it into the container, I leave the sprigs inside the jar, so that it continues to release its properties.
📌Friends, I didn't say it in the video, but the quantities of water for the rosemary vary, in all the recipes on the internet they talk about 1 liter of water for a handful of rosemary. I use only 250 ml, or two cups as shown in the video with the pot because I have little hair. Well, the amount of rosemary is also up to you, I try to use all of it because if I don't, it damages my hair, and that has made my tonic much more concentrated.

The length of time it lasts also varies depending on the weather, mainly. The one I made first lasted me 1 month, and it got a bad smell. But the last one I made with the dried rosemary has lasted 3 months and it still remains and smells intact, it hasn't been damaged. But I am in winter in Lima, so it lasts much longer.

There is another technique to make rosemary, but I saw it on the internet and I have not done it, I will share the link with you:

Another technique to make the tonic

Rosemary oil

This oil is super simple to make. We chop a little bit of fresh rosemary, and pour it in a glass container (it has to be glass), then add the olive oil, if it is extra virgin better. You manage the quantity, in the video you can see that it is not much what I use. Finally let the rosemary macerate for 15 days, it will start to change color, that means that the rosemary released its properties. And that's it!

The rosemary has made my hair grow a lot, although it looks short it's because of the curls that are more defined, but if I straighten my hair it will be more noticeable:
