New outings, new events, new memories. One more week, one more day may sound like "something repeated" and yet we never go through the same place twice. Because the second time we have already changed.

The first time I met this district of Lima was in 2018, and I went to eat at precisely the same place. The dejavu was not instantaneous, it took me a while to realize that I had already gone. However, the feeling of "I've been here before but it feels different" remained. And I was more grateful. It was a very nice feeling. My boyfriend and I spent the afternoon reflecting on how different we are now.

Nuevas salidas, nuevos eventos, nuevos recuerdos. Una semana más, un día más puede sonar como "algo repetido" y sin embargo no pasamos nunca por el mismo lugar dos veces. Porque la segunda vez ya hemos cambiado.

La primera vez que conocí este distrito de Lima fue en el 2018, y fui a comer justamente al mismo lugar. El dejavu no fue instantáneo, tardé en darme cuenta que ya había ido. Sin embargo, se mantuvo la sensación de "he pasado por aquí pero se siente diferente". Y fui más agradecida. Fue un sentimiento muy bonito. Mi novio y yo pasamos la tarde reflexionando cuán diferente somos ahora.
