The strong-willed bird

Seeing the eagle hovering in a circle in the high sky, this king of birds with its majestic flight symbolizes authority, dominance and dignity! The avian world is full of varied creatures and this powerful world watches over its prey with a sharp eye. In fact, its eyesight is eight times better than ours.

For the Japanese, the glimpse of this bird is considered fortunate as the folk story says that the Sun Goddess Amaterasu came out of the hiding from the cave and lightened the world again. Eagles have heavy beaks and are associated with pride and strength. The tendency is to fly alone at high altitude and it builds its nest on high cliffs.This high flyer has vision and is a sign of war and oppression.

I have been awestruck by the ferocity which it exhibits as a ruthless snatcher stooping low from the sky and attacking its prey. This strong-willed avian creature undergoes the painful process of breaking its beak, then waiting patiently for it to rejuvenate and then it leads its life with the same royalty and strength which is the trademark of an eagle!
