On 19th, a US-based autonomous vehicle clashed with a pedestrian in Arizona. The injured pedestrian was a 49-year-old woman. When he was taken to a local hospital, he was declared dead there. The operator was present during the clash, but the car could not control due to the automated mode. Besides this, the accident took place when the passers-by-passenger did not follow the rules through the streets without using certain crossings. This pedestrian was killed due to the first time the project was started in the unmanned car. Earlier, there was a collision with a self-controlled vehicle in Australia that could not detect a kangaroo coming in front of him. But this is the first time with people. But the pedestrians here are also guilty. Because he did not use fixed crossings. And self-regulated cars work like a robot. It is not possible to go beyond the specific rules and make mature decisions, but the work is going on.
In the United States, a large part of the transportation research is being invested in self-regulated car safety. However, after the accident, she expressed her sadness, they agreed to help all types of interest in the investigation. The self-regulating automobiles in Phoenix, Pittsburgh, San Francisco and Toronto are also closed. The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and The National Transport Safety Board have sent a team to investigate the accident site. The driver himself caused these accidents due to the inability of the driver, fatigue, exhaustion, and the risk of driving only the risk of driving. Uber tried to move faster than everyone else. But after such a tragedy, the question was that the accident happened because of the effort to speed it forward? Uber hurry to move self-controlled cars to the streets, right?There is so much research on a non-driving car that researchers have come to believe that the technology needed for this vehicle and the elaborate algorithm needed to be made. So now more than a dozen technology companies and start-up companies like Uber, have been picking up for the unmanned vehicle.
Brian Reimer researched MIT driverless cars. After this accident, he said that this art is still not fully prepared for the transport of such vehicles among the people on the street. There has been a great deal of research and this has been done. But more advanced technologies are needed here. Besides, there are some laws required for such vehicles. Those companies that make non-driving cars follow those laws and then drive them to any other place. Required research and further monitoring is required to bring self-regulated car under law.
