Memories of my grandparents SB chronicles #15

Hello hivers. I hope everyone is doing good😁.
As I was looking at the moon I remembered my grandmother.

Growing up I never meet any of my grandfather in both sides. They passed away even before I was born. It was only my grandmother in both sides that was around. Though I never meet my grand mother in my mothers side even once.

She lived far away from us and when my mother go and visit her she never brings me. It was only the youngest that she always bring along with her. It was only in her story that I would get to know how my grandmother back then. According to her they grew up with lack of love from her. She's a mother that don't know how to be a mother😬. She care less about them that it was only their father that show them love but he was a fierce and strict one. I remember my mother's story on how my grandfather beat her with a belt when he saw her talking to one of the boys in their neighborhood. Aside from that he's always at work and they were left in their mother's care throughout the day. When my mother was 15 she left their house and live in different area in their city to work and provide for herself. Though once in a while she still comes and visit her parents. My grandfather was not happy of what she did and it takes a long time before they patch things up.

When she met my father they move to my father's hometown after getting married. We grew up with my grandmother in my father's side. She's a petite lady with a curly hair. A strong and brave one. Though she's not showy in terms of affection and love, I believed she have loved us in her own way. I remember sleeping in her house back then when my younger brother was sick and my mother just given birth to another baby. Our father sent us in her house to spend the night along with my older sisters. She would tell us story how she defeated those bad elements that trying to harm us. Those witches that she said she's not afraid to fight if they would come after us. Even a snake she would kill by herself if they come at night and attack her chickens. We would fall asleep listening to her stories feeling safe and secure. Knowing how brave and strong she is that nothing can harm us with her by our side.
She and my mother wouldn't get along sometimes due to some misunderstanding and would result to them ignoring each other even for a year. My mother gave birth to Hive account@lhes and other sister with curly hair when they are not in good terms. My grandmother was so proud of it. Telling people that my mother disliked her resulting to her children inheriting her curly hair😂. Though my father got the same curly hair. It was also inherited by Caleb and if my grand mother was still around she would be proud of it😛.
Even now those memories would bring a smile whenever i think of her. If I could bring back times I would surely spend more times with her and make happy memories.
