Late lunch at Elite Ultimo

Elite Ultimo is a little diner recommended by a dear friend of mine. According to her, it has one of the most decent western fusion meals in our little town. Located in the suburbs, Elite Ultimo is tucked away from the busy streets. If it weren't for my friend to recommend, I might not realize the existence of this little diner.

We went there around 5p.m., and we were the only customers there on a sunday. The place is cozy and quite, and it's a great place to have casual meetings or coffee.

We ordered a carbonara spaghetti, a blueberry cheesecake, and some nachos.

Carbonara Spaghetti

The taste of the cabonara is rich and creamy, I know certain restaurants simply use canned products from Prego or Campbell but this doesn't taste like them at all. This diner uses fresh mushrooms instead of the usual canned button mushrooms. (button mushrooms isn't widely available in the market)

Nachos

The Nachos was topped with creamy and cheesy Béchamel sauce, but I really wished it could be done in another way. Overall, it's just okay. If i were to order it again, I would ask for the sauce to be given separately in a bowl since I prefer to enjoy the crunch of the chips.

Blueberry Cheesecake

The blueberry cheesecake is my favorite because it's a good dessert to end the meal. This simple cheesecake isn't very dense or too sweet like the cakes in Starbucks. The blueberry jam at the top of the cake isn't overpowering the cake too. It has a good balance of the blueberries and cheese. I believe it will go just right with a cup of black coffee.

Overall price

This place is slightly more expensive than most diners around town, but it is a great place to come for a little celebration or treat since the quality is assured too.

Conclusion

I have to be honest, it wasn't easy to find a good diner that serves decent non-local meals or good cakes in Seremban compared to the city of Kuala Lumpur. So, this diner manage to be in my top recommended list.
