how steemit works as explained by CEO Ned Scott

hi steemians hope all of u are fine,
today i am going to explains you the concept of Steemit,
In general steemit is a first social media platform ever been built on blockchain technology that provides rewards in cryptocurrency just for doing what user is doing in any other social media platform.

Steemit runs on the concept of steem blockchain, let us understand it with flow diagram:-

The bigger cylinder shows in above diagram represents data base structure .i.e steem and along with it the application steemit.com provides two things one is steem (the cryptocurrency) shown as small cylinder in diagram and second is content management system and this cms offers blog post, comments

what makes steemit platform different from other social media platforms is that this database is sensorship resitant and to make it possible you can see that in the diagram the series of nodes run by selected individuals around the world and they communicate with each other to make sure that every one is running the same copy of that database and if anyone is not able to run that database then they are kicked out of that chain.

The node runners dont want that they were kicked off because they were paid out and if they are running different ledger they lose their jobs

the another part of it is the ultimate users like us who write blog post and gets rewards on upvotes and comments when another user like or dislike.

There is one more most important thing in this plat form is the curator reward i.e. the reward u can earn when u upvote blogposts of others.

So, this is all about how steemit works
hope you all like it.
