A 3d printing newbie

What makes life 1% more interesting and fun?
3d printing.

We’ve been having fun learning how to use it after buying a basic model last month.

It’s proved very useful when you need a thing.. so instead of ordering an adapter online or going to the shops for an IKEA accessory or whatever, we just print it.

This was my first print.
My watch charger was exceptionally dull, so I added a bit of Apple nostalgia.

Its a fun little thing which prints in two parts and clips together. Super cool.

After that we did some bigger prints (the plant is real)

Nobody can live without some Barbie accessories can they? My daughter LOVES these.

And then useful stuff like organisational boxes for things like my wife’s sewing.

And keeping your Ninendo booty safe.
My son has been really getting in to printing and learing loads about it all.

The machine itself is pretty mini as far as printers go these days. Plenty of opportunity for the kids to select thier prints and were currently working on CAD so we can design and printing custom things.

Lots to learn but were here for it.

Anyone else in to this?
