CLOUDY

It was a beautiful day. Except that we had to change our route completely to  reach Leh from Nubra thanks to an avalanche on the original route. And that we had an early morning flight to catch the next day. And that it was already 6 in the evening but we still had a 7 hour journey ahead of us. Nevertheless, it WAS a beautiful day. How could it not be? It's Ladakh! Even though the avalanche caused trouble to everyone, I am glad that it happened as thanks to it, we were able to take a different route which we otherwise would not have taken. It was a wonderful journey on this alternate route, and I saw a lot many landscapes, rocky, snowy, watery, sometimes green too. At one point the road itself disappeared and we crossed a dried up river to get back on it on the opposite side! Who knew that sometimes, good things can happen thanks to bad things! So yes, here it is before you my friends. The enchanting Himalayan skyline, cloudy, but the Himalayas adding to the charm of an already beautiful evening.
