Bad Habits| a timely freewrite
David enjoyed every moment of the rainy season, the weather was so perfect that he would always sleep shirtless under the ceiling fan which was always set to the highest level. Whenever someone questioned him, he would say that he was storing all the cold he could gather in preparation for summer which he always hated because of the scorching heat.
Until one day he fell seriously ill. His temperature went through the roof and his joints began to ache.
He was later taken to the doctor where it was discovered that he had a serious case of fever. But he told the doctor that had not been visited by any mosquitoes for a while.
And the doctor smiled and replied, " sometimes exposing our body to harsh conditions can result in consequences seen in case of mosquito bites".
The doctor later prescribed some drugs to him to speed up his recovery. Ever since then David has been sleeping with his shirt on.
