Bring Me A Higher Love
In addition to being the chorus of an amazing song by Steve Winwood, these words inspired a poem from me in the wee hours of the early morning:
Seeking solitude in mySelf
Yet longing for relationships
That reflect a higher order
Seeking completeness within
Yet companionship with others
A deep yearning to love
Not only mySelf
But everything
And everyone else too
To wrap the world in a hug
In the everlasting embrace
Of Divine Love
May you find a Higher Love both within and without!
