The cat was called Tom and he lived in a big house with a family that loved him very much. He liked to play with the children, sleep on the couch and eat tuna. He was a happy and cheerful cat.

One day, the family moved to another country and he couldn't take Tom with them. They left him at an animal shelter, where there were many other abandoned cats. Tom felt alone and scared. He missed his family and his home.

Days passed and no one adopted Tom. The other cats made fun of him and told him that no one would want him. Fluff became sad and depressed. He lost his appetite and interest in playing. He just wanted to sleep and forget about everything.

One night, Tom had a dream. He dreamed that his family came back to look for him and hugged him with love. He felt happy and safe. But when he woke up, he realized that it was just a dream. He felt sadder than ever.

Tom decided that he didn't want to continue living like this. He escaped from the shelter and went to the street. He looked for a quiet, dark place where no one would bother him. He curled up and closed his eyes. He thought about his family and the good times they had spent together. He said goodbye to them in silence and left himself to die.
