Doing It For Charity...
I am planning to take part in a UWCB boxing event this summer for Cancer Research UK. I have taken part in charitable events before, but never one like this, I have zero boxing ability, problem is I dont have the required boxing gear to train. I am unemployed, I have been since moving to this area almost a year ago, so really cant afford the required equipment, i dont even get benefits so £50 is a lot of money to me and difficult to raise, but that's what I need to be involved in the fundraiser event, i was unaware of this before signing up
*1 pair 16oz boxing gloves (black, white, red, blue, purple, orange, green, pink or yellow)
*1 pair of high quality stretch hand wraps
*1 gumshield with case
being a non boxer/sporty person who is new to the area I dont have these this readily available nor know anyone who does. Combined, the items would cost considerably more than my target of £50 but the organisers have arranged package deals for participants which contain all the above gear at a special price of £40
I know Ive aimed to raise £50 but that takes into consideration the fees that are taken by go fund me. I need to have a minimum of £40 or the above gear before the deadline of 17/07/18. All donations gratefully recieved to help me on my quest. Thank you
